After harvest, use case 13 in handsfree agriculture.

The 'After Harvest Robotics' project is an exciting initiative that will change the way we work in greenhouse horticulture. By using advanced technologies such as AI, vision, robotics, and smart mechanization, we aim to fully automate the post-harvest process with intelligent logistics and autonomous systems. This is necessary to make robotic harvesting possible at all.

This also means that many of our current tasks, such as sorting, grading, and packaging, will shift from the warehouse to the plant, making our work much more efficient.

We aim to adjust the infrastructure and work methods to support these new technologies. Think of automated systems that can operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year. This not only helps reduce costs and food waste but also ensures that our food is safe for the consumer.

With these changes, we can strengthen the competitive position and continue to be the most innovative country in greenhouse horticulture.

NXTGEN HORIZON

In short, this project makes it possible to streamline and economically enhance the harvesting, sorting, packaging, and logistics of our crops using AI, vision, robotics, and smart mechanization.
